This foundation was established in Autumn 2000.

The main reason for establishing such foundation was financing HETMAN - a yacht which is still known as Polish sailing live history and tradition. Thousands of young seamen have come and gone yet it sill has to serve those who love the sea.

The sailing sport, especially the sea one, is rather an expensive sport. However, our foundation helps those who cannot afford it, to give it a try. The Hetman Maritime Foundation offers help to the youths from all possible backgrounds.
